A leading figure in the history of House music, Chicago’s TYREE COOPER is responsible for some of the genre’s biggest and earliest anthems. His take on TIMECODE shows all the signs of a seminal tune ready to rip apart the floor of your choice: uplifting chords and teasing hi-hats flank the legendary bassline, making this rework an essential clubbing experience. Still, he managed to carve out some time for a haunting remix, dunking the source’s prime time properties in foggy delays and the slightly disconcerting odour of sneaky bar routines.
